Here's the biggest change I've made this year and the impact it's had is ridiculous.

I made such a simple change to the way I work with my guys and they’re loving it.

Not only with the results they’re getting, but the process too.

It’s easy to fall in the trap of doing the same thing over and over again.

It works for a bit, until it doesn’t.

It could be the latest diet, some drop 5kg in 5 weeks challenge or something else.

I must admit, I was doing the same – not with my health, but with my coaching.

My programme worked, well, I have plenty of recommendations and testimonials to confirm that. However occasionally it would cause a spanner in the works.

So what’s the big change I’ve made this year?

I’ve got rid of my programme.

I don’t have a set of modules. You don’t get a welcome video followed by the focus for week 1.

You don’t have an overwhelming portal, full of everything you COULD be doing.

Instead I give you EXACTLY what you need, when you need it.

Your life, commitments and routines are different to everyone else’s, so how can you follow the same programme?

In this case, less really is more.

If your January motivation is fizzling out, stop looking for that quick fix. You’re just putting a plaster on an arterial bleed.

If you want something that works, is enjoyable AND long lasting, book in a call, let's talk.

I didn't even know it was Blue Monday. I must have missed it.

If you let outside influences make or break your day, things like a made up label, the weather or something else, then you've lost control.

Or are you just using them as excuses?

Which is it?

One of the main things I do with my clients is hold them to account.

Whatever choices they made, I want them to be informed choices, not the default.

We dissect the what, the why and the how.

That's the power of a good coach.

That's the reason my January starters are well on the way already.

K is down 4kg , B is down 3.4kg and J is down 2.2kg.

No calorie counting, ridiculous regimes or complicated plans.

Just sensible manageable changes and taking ownership of decisions with a good dollop of accountability.

Not letting Blue Monday take control...
