This week has been a classic example of organised chaos!
We've had our family of five for almost a week now. They've settled in well and Abbie is loving having a girl her age in the house.
And then I got a phone call from my brother.
He'd totally forgot about a work trip he had planned. My mum was supposed to be looking after his son that day, but with her health issues, that can't happen.
So this morning consisted of getting up at 6:30AM (thanks to the 16 month old alarm we now have).
Two pints of water, coffee on, feed the baby, somehow squeeze in a trip to the toilet. And then I made packed breakfasts and lunches before getting my nephew back to school (which is a 25 minute drive away).
Back home, walk my daughter to school, give the dog a quick walk and in my office for 9AM.
Now being honest, this is an exception for me. Life is busy, not usually as bad as this, but it's never settled.
And the same for my client this morning at 9AM.
We've worked for a few weeks looking to implement structure and routine, but the realisation is very different. His life is chaotic too, 4 kids along with long stressful hours at the desk.
We've been barking up the wrong tree.
Organised chaos is our goal. Or as I prefer to call it, flexibility.
We've set goals we'd like to achieve, but we're parking the set structure for now.
The easy option for him would be to say life is too busy right now, let's revisit health later.
But life never slows down and if he can do it now, he can do it for the rest of his life.
You could be a stone lighter by Summer.
There are officially 89 days left until Summer.
If you start today you only need to shift 0.15lb per day to reach that target.
Sounds more manageable when you break it down.
You could be eating better, exercising regularly, getting those steps in, sleeping better, drinking less, be more hydrated, performing highly at work and still having energy when you get home.
But the common mistake is you start with that.
You want it all and you want it now.
How about we start with one workout this week and raise your water consumption.
Sounds more manageable when you break it down.
That's where I come in.
If you're too busy to get started, this is the perfect time to get started.
When you manage your health at your busiest, it's a doddle when it's not.
That's exactly what Daniel did.
Long hours at the desk and the cold winter looming wasn't enough to stop him.
He'd tried different diets and plans, but all short lived.
It's no weakness to admit you need a bit of help with this stuff.
And now look at him.
Slimmer, happier, sharper and has bags of energy.
If you want to be the next Daniel, don't put it off, get started now. There is no excuse. The only barrier is you.
I even offer a 7 day free trial of my one-to-one coaching, so you know you’ve made the right decision before you sign on the dotted line.

Today we become a family of five again but this time for longer.
We've had these two before, they visited for a couple of weeks whilst their carer was away. But due to circumstances they've needed to move on, so we said yes.
Two more girls in the house - I'm going to be massively outnumbered!
They're going to be here for at least 6 weeks we reckon, maybe longer.
Yet another example of how life never slows down - don't wait for it to.
Oh and another guy has stopped on after his 7-day free trial, that's 4 out of 5 now.
I always say this is different to everything else out there. This actually works.
If you want to experience what it's like to work with me, now's the perfect time. Drop me a DM.
I'll get back to you between nappy changes!
Everything I do is about sustainability long term, no more yo-yo
Rob Cook is a Director in his construction company. He works long hours and travels around the country.
Rob found himself above 18 stone and struggling for breath. He set out to shift it.
He shifted the majority of that weight alone, but what he'd done is create a routine and a way of living that was totally unsustainable.
He'd be exercising for an hour every single day and eating separate meals to the family.
Rob approached me asking for help as he knew he needed to change, but was so afraid of putting all the weight back on.
We slowly pulled Rob's plan back, making sure we kept an eye on his weight. He was very reluctant but trusted the process.
Rob is now eating with the family, he exercises 3 times a week and he's lost a bit more weight on top.
I don’t just help with weight loss, everything I do is about sustainability long term, no more yo-yo.
Feel like it’s worth a shot? Drop me a DM.

I have to check the calendar to see which kids we're looking after!
Today, we welcome the 23rd child under our roof in 3 years.
Life sometimes feels like organised chaos and I know it's never going to calm down.
That's why I don't wait to start anything, I just get on with it. Good enough is good enough.
And I was reminded of that on a call yesterday.
"Chris, I saw your posts in December and I knew I needed to do something.
Then I saw your posts in January and I thought p*ss off Chris, haha...
... I've done nothing since then, so I just need to do get on with it"
Managing Director of his company, young kids, travels globally, hotel stays, the lot. He's got plenty of good excuses.
But he's stopped listening to them and starting tomorrow, he's going to make a change.
But why tomorrow?
Well, he's at Cheltenham today, so that'd be a silly day to start. At least he's not starting on a Monday!
If you're reading this, but hiding behind your excuses, stop.
EVERYONE can make progress, albeit it will be different to the next man.

Our 16 year old went home yesterday and today we welcome a 16 week old into our home!
In the last month, we’ll have looked after 6 different children, plus Abbie of course.
On top of that we’ve had my mum’s health issues, needed to buy a new car as Gemma crashed hers plus everything else going on.
It’s been hectic.
It’s not been perfect.
I’ve prioritised the important stuff and not beat myself up over the small stuff.
But I’ve managed and it’s everything feels like it’s starting to settle.
Until the next thing…
Life is never quiet, there is always something going on, so whatever you’re putting off until a better time, stop procrastinating and get on with it.
Even one step forward is better than none.
And despite all the craziness, I’ve even left friendly messages for Abbie to remind her I love her.
